Cho Cho Wynn(Ms.)
Deputy Director General Directorate of Investment and Company Administration

Ms. Cho Cho Wynn graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from the Yangon Institute of Economics in 1979. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she worked as a Research Assistant and Assignment Tutor at the Yangon Institute of Economics from 1980 to 1984. In 1984, she joined the Ministry of Planning and Finance as a Deputy Planning Officer.  From the end of 1988, she was transferred to the Office of the Foreign Investment Commission, the precursor to the Directorate of Investment and Company Registration.  During her assignment at the FIC Office, she also received her Master Degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands in 1992. After receiving her Master Degree, she also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the Czech Republic on Market Economics and Financial Analysis. When Myanmar joined the ASEAN Community in 1997, she was assigned to the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta as a Senior Officer in Trade Liberalization.  In 2001, she rejoined the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development in the National AFTA Unit, involved in various FTA negotiations. She held various positions in the National AFTSA Unit and later the ASEAN Unit under the Foreign Economic Relations Department until November 2012 where she rejoined the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration as the Deputy Director General.
